MY INK FLAME

BONDS UNBROKEN

Image
They see the smiles, yes they do, But our hearts speak the details, Our memories, the healer of our wounds, Memories too many to our sharing. The good times, the sorted for, The bad times, the unresolved hurts, Either way, in thanks, we shared them still, We never gave up, for our bond is quite unbroken. To our deepest believe in us, Our worlds fell on crossed paths, And like a dusty read novel, Our existence bewildered by the past, Yet, an unbroken bond persists an existence. Our stories...yes, our stories, Beneath a tree they hid, In solitudinous quiet of assurance, Awaiting our discovering from solitary, For no less was our bond untied. Alas, at long last, At the gates, in gaits a Queen for her King, I found you...you found me, We rediscovered our unsorted memories, Reignited a passion broken in thousand flakes but unbroken in bond, And we remain one, Upon the times. Indeed, the smiles and viles they did see, But our hearts hold the unbroken bond. 🕊🕊🕊  - CarL I. -

ENTANGLED BRACE

Image
Entangled ties lies our embrace, In the warmth of warmth our brace imparts, Though steep the hills, our heels shall climb, Sowing and growing our seeds shall sprout, For together we wet and build our home, And in our entangled brace we rise as one. .....……….❤❤❤...………... - CarL I. -

DEFACED REALITY

Image
Labour, not in vain but pain, Labour, too harsh a pain I bear, Logged head? Backed back? Belied belly?  No...no! I didn't crave for this, I didn't pray this, a future, For I am young. …...………………………. "Hey Halima, look it's Ada" Alarmed Remi's voice from a distance. The jeers, Yet unbearable, I stand, A fault not of my making, For I am young. …………………………….. We all struggle differently, My life in a coined phased cruelty, No...no! This wasn't my making, Do not judge me, For I am young. …………...………………... #NoToChildLabour ✖ #NoToChildAbuse ✖ #NoToChildMarriage ✖ #NoToRape ✖ …………………………….. - CarL I. -
