TIMELESS LOVER

Taking a walk in time
abreast with the ticks and tricks
of unaging numbers
on ageing flesh

My mind,
in split control of the seconds
play me subtle reminders in tocks
of how minute minutes are
in a flash!

Yet, I remain
unbothered
cos, I've got you my timeless lover
to behold in all memories.

Time and age
become irrelevant
when it's all about
you my timeless lover
and me your untimed beholder
gracing through life's tick and tock
arm in arm
until the day earth calls us by name.
