FLESH OF MY BONES

I recall days,
days of old broken flesh,
days of strong broken bones,
days of skin gripping bones
for fear of uncertainty,
for fear of the future.
Days forgotten
days I recall.

I recall days,
I recount times,
times numerous -
infinity becomes a number count,
times unpleasant -
the wakes of earth by quakes become delights at full moon,
I recount times,
Times, I recount.
Times which now turn this day
into a dance of beautiful reality
of flesh and bone,
to our wine clinging audience.

I recall my days,
broken yet forged,
by the experts of love,
and now delight in
glitters and tingles,
jingling and leaping to
heart's giggles like tunes of our sparkling baby
before our wine clinging audience.

The addition of one makes two
yet two makes one
a practical definition of unity.
My love,
I am no one without you
I am not one, not whole, without you
My flesh of bones,
My two - my one!
My me!

My love!!

My flesh of flesh
My bone of bones,
in locked hands
I dare to say,
I love you...
today, until forever!
